Can you enclose a condo or apartment balcony?

Often, yes. Balcony catios can be built to clamp or fasten without drilling into the building, and to come down cleanly when you move. You'll need your condo board's approval, and we can give them drawings to look at.

Will it block my view or my light?

Less than you'd think. Welded wire is surprisingly see-through, and you choose where any solid roof goes. Most people are surprised how open it feels from inside.

Can we still use the deck ourselves?

That's the idea. We plan the layout around your table and chairs, so it becomes the place you have your coffee with your cats giving you those cute squinty eyes.

A deck catio encloses all or part of an existing deck, patio or balcony. The floor, and often a wall, are already there, so you get a lot of catio for what you spend. And because it sits right off your house, your cats can come and go through a door or window without needing a tunnel.
